Cape Town TV is more than just a broadcaster because we provide opportunities for citizens and organisations to produce their own shows on television as well as youth training opportunities.
The station is owned by Capetonians through a membership base of local NGOs. We are a true community media platform, built by and for the people. But community media in South Africa is under pressure. With government advertising spend and philanthropic funding in steep decline, keeping your station alive has become more challenging than ever.
